Jamie Ward

Jamie Ward is a recognized leader in early childhood education with more than 25 years of experience driving innovative programs and initiatives that create lasting, positive outcomes for children, families, and educators. She is the owner of Curricula Concepts, Inc., and Managing Partner of BWCW, where she blends her deep understanding of early childhood development with her talent for building collaborative partnerships.

Throughout her career, Jamie has worked across many roles, including Head Start teacher and center director, state program administrator, adjunct university instructor, and national consultant. Her expertise spans family engagement, professional development, and policy advising, making her a trusted voice in the field. Jamie’s work focuses on fostering collaboration among educators, families, policymakers, and community leaders to create impactful change. She is particularly passionate about integrating wellness and engaging families into education practices, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

In addition to her consulting and leadership roles, Jamie is an active speaker and advocate for early education. She serves as President of the Arkansas Association for Infant Mental Health and participates in several state and national committees focused on advancing excellence in early learning. Outside of her professional life, Jamie enjoys walking her dog, Lucy, and staying active through CrossFit.

Deborah Blackburn

Deborah joined Curricula Concepts, Inc. in 2014. Prior to Curricula Concepts, she worked at the Arkansas Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education in a multitude of positions, was a Curriculum Coordinator for a developmental preschool and served as the AECA Vice President of Communications.

With over 25 years in the early childhood education field, and as a parent, she knows the value of high quality child care for children and wants all children to have a loving, nurturing environment to grow, play, and learn. She helps her team equip both families and early educators to be their very best selves.
Deborah lives in Sherwood with her husband, two daughters, and four cats. In her personal time, she loves to read and writes short stories as a hobby.

Sara Norwood

Sara joined Curricula Concepts, Inc. in November of 2021, and is very thankful to be a part of the amazing team. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in marketing/management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. For over 11 years, she was with the Arkansas Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education, where she was grateful for the opportunity to engage with families and educators daily. Striving daily to ensure efficiency and coordination with business processes, she keeps Curricula Concepts organized and running smoothly. Sara enjoys working as part of a team and has a passion for helping others.

Sara and her husband live in Little Rock with their son. She loves spending time with friends and family at the lake, is passionate about living life authentically, and prioritizes her faith. Prioritizing the well-being and education of children is something that consumes her heart daily. Children deserve our best and her goal is to strive every day to provide exactly that…her best for children and families!

Sarah Paul

FAMILY ENGAGEMENT LIAISON

Sarah truly has a passion for people. Her social work career began with the Department of Human Services after which she worked for Fayetteville Schools as a Pre-K Family Service Manager. Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Arkansas and is also a credentialed Family Service Worker. She is a member of the Arkansas Early Childhood Association and the Arkansas Association for Infant Mental Health. Sarah has trained hundreds of Early Childhood professionals and families across the state of Arkansas.

Born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, Sarah lives in Fayetteville with her amazing son. She enjoys being creative and spending time with her growing family. She is committed to social justice efforts in her community and takes action as often as possible. Sarah believes all people deserve the chance to live happy, healthy lives and her work at Curricula Concepts allows her to help families do just that!

Robbie Belew

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Robbie joined Curricula Concepts, Inc. in August of 2020. She has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Arkansas Tech University and was a classroom teacher for 5 years where she taught a variety of grade levels. Her favorite part of being a teacher was making lasting connections with her students and their families, which she will always cherish. Now she has the opportunity to make connections with educators and families across the state by sharing her passion of child development. Getting to live out the vision of Curricula Concepts as both a mother and an educator is a dream come true.

In her free time, you can catch her at CrossFit or the lake, where she will be spending time with her husband and their two kiddos!

Katie Kirkland

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Katie is a Professional Development Coordinator who joined our team 2022. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education P-4 and a Master’s in Reading from the University of Central Arkansas. Katie comes from a long line of educators who have instilled in her the importance of being a lifelong learner. She believes that learning starts long before academic curriculum is taught, and she is passionate about the importance of early childhood development in all areas is Being able to make connections and provide a wide range of resources to better help the development and growth of our little ones excites her the most.

She spent ten years in the classroom and loved supporting growing in many different areas. Getting to know her students was always her most important goal. Providing a safe environment where children were able to understand one another, support one another, and feel emotionally understood was her favorite part of teaching. She fully believes that once a child feels respected and loved, then the learning takes off.

Katie resides in Greenbrier with her family. She is happily married to her husband, Skylar, and has two little girls, Elle Kathryn and Hollis. Being a mother was her greatest dream, and she feels so blessed to have little hands to hold. She has a large extended family and truly cherishes every memory made. She also enjoys the company of her friends, traveling, walking, staying active, shopping for a good deal, and journaling. She considers a good checklist her best friend, and she sometimes forgets that not everyone is a hugger.

Jessica Moreland

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Jessica has been working with the Curricula Concepts team in different capacities since the fall of 2020. Recently, she has jumped into the world of training and realized her passion for helping providers understand their impact on children’s health and wellness. This passion stems from her own continuous journey with health and wellness. She believes that activity and nutrition are important keys to healthy learners! Jessica spent 7 years molding young minds at the elementary level before taking time off to spend with her twin boys, Jax and Jace (6). This time at home with her boys really impacted the way she perceives young children’s learning and development. Jessica prides herself on being a lifelong learner and is always looking for ways to learn more to better her influence on those around her.

Jessica fulfills many other roles in her day-to-day life including Football/Track Coach’s wife to her husband Nathan, volunteer at her kids’ school, and CrossFit L1 Coach! The Morelands have made their home in Greenbrier for the last 13 years and love being a part of their community.

Tess Benham

Tess has been with Curricula Concepts since December of 2021! She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Hendrix College, which is what brought her to Arkansas. Tess’s professional experience in the early childhood field started with 4 years working with the state’s Early Intervention program. She had the pleasure of working with parents, educators, and providers, and was able to act as a bridge in connecting everyone, which has transitioned seamlessly into her role as a Be Well Care Well coach. She has the opportunity to support the staff individually, as a group, and to connect them to resources and activities within the community.

Tess has always had a passion for working with others and really enjoys creating connection with such a wide variety of people through her sites with Be Well Care Well. With all the unique interests and needs, it is wonderful to walk alongside staff and always remind them that they are important and to take those moments to care for themselves!

Tess is originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts but has lived in Fayetteville for the last 8 years. She wed her college sweetheart this summer back in Massachusetts and they share a rambunctious yellow lab named Buckley. She loves to travel, whether to the beach or to the snow and anywhere in-between.

Haley Dunlap

Although she grew up in southeast Arkansas, Haley attended Arkansas State University for her Bachelor’s in Spanish, where she graduated in 2011. She currently lives in Jonesboro with her husband, Parker, and dog, Teeter. Although Haley loves the Spanish Language and Culture, her professional career consists extensively in coaching gymnasts, tumblers, and cheerleaders and also managing gymnastics/cheer programs and their staff. In this role she trained athletes not only on the sport but also on their health and well-being. She now is a USA Gymnastics Judge and has her own business as a floor and beam routine Choreographer. Through her years of coaching, she has not only loved being encouraging and an advocate to those athletes, but she also poured her passion for the sport into those coaches she managed as well.

Haley loves using her previous coaching skills to encourage and support staff she serves where their important position continuously is making a huge difference in others’ lives. As a Well-Being Coach, she helps everyone feel a contagious, positive energy that they can then exude into their daily lives too. Her passion is to show the appreciation she feels towards those staff so that they can continue to do their best work and love what they do.

Haley has a special place in her heart for dogs, especially Labs. She and her husband have a spunky, Chocolate Lab named Teeter, that always keeps them on their toes. They share many interests like waterfowl hunting, fishing, St. Louis Cardinals baseball games, kayaking, going to the local farmer’s market, and long road trips to explore new places. Haley loves to share her journey so that it can be an inspiration for any others.

Pam Furman

Pam is a well-being coach who works with individuals ranging from 3 years of age to 65+ to help them achieve their health goals. She joined Curricula Concepts in February 2022 and is excited to be working in a field that helps others with their health. Pam earned her certificate in Health Coaching in July 2021, from Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.

She found her passion for this field of work about five years ago when she saw the benefits of changing her diet and lifestyle after suffering from many health issues. She finds joy in seeing others achieve their health goals and seeing their confidence rise.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her kids, and her seven grandkids. Pam also loves to craft, go to estate sales, and reading.

Wyletta Johnson

Wyletta resides in Camden, Arkansas, she graduated from Camden Fairview High in 1997 and furthered her education at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia Arkansas (Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2003). Wyletta didn’t stop there, she obtained her Masters in Mental Health and Wellness with Emphasis in Family Dynamics from Grand Canyon University in 2021). Wyletta is the founder of Autistic Voyage and The Autism Fairy, she along with her son Darius (21) travels the world sharing their journey with autism. Wyletta’s affirmation is to uplift, encourage and inspire and that her passion as a Be Well Care Well Coach is that she can walk in her purpose daily. Wyletta stated Being a Be Well Care Well Coach allows her to connect with, be present for and supportive of the individuals she services. She shared that God knew their life wouldn’t be complete without Tristan (12). Together the trio chooses to live their lives out loud, unapologetically and with no explanation because life is what you make it, why not make it BeYOUtiful.

Tori Miller

Tori is excited to have joined the Curricula Concepts Team in May 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Arkansas and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Harding University. She has 24 years of educational experience ranging in ages from PreK to high school. In addition to her classroom experience, she coached volleyball, basketball, soccer and served as the Arkansas Consolidation School Improvement Plan chair for her school.

Tori has owned and operated her own successful Teams of Tomorrow (TOT) franchise for the past 10 years. This experience has offered her a unique insight into the world of early care and education. Her TOT program is offered in 30+ childcare facilities across central Arkansas where she has forged relationships and impacted the lives of owners, directors, teachers, parents, and children. Tori is passionate about building relationships as well as, networking people and resources. She’s excited to continue making an impact through her new Curricula Concepts role as a Well-Being Coach with the Be Well Care Well Arkansas program.

Tori and her husband Ty live in Greenbrier with their 17 year old twins. She loves spending time with her family, is a sports fanatic, and can be found most nights and weekends at a ballfield or gym supporting her kids.

Robin Thrower

Robin Thrower is a resident of Camden, Arkansas. Robin is a 1999 graduate of Camden Fairview High School. She furthered her education at Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia, Arkansas where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. Robin continued studies to receive a Master of Psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2009. Robin later explored Doctoral studies in Health Care Administration with Capella University from 2011 until 2013.
Robin is a Certified Community Health Worker through the Arkansas Community Health Worker’s Association with an emphasis on Building Community Health Worker Programs through Harvard edX. Robin is also a Whole Health facilitator granted by the Alice L. Walton Foundation’s Whole Health Institute. Robin is a certified HIV/HepC counselor granted by the Arkansas Department of Health and she is a trained phlebotomist.
Robin is the proud owner of Broken But Healed, LLC. Broken But Healed, LLC provides coaching and community health supports by utilizing client centered and strength-based practices to encourage self-awareness and to transform health and well-being.
In Robin’s free time, she can be found enjoying life with her husband and their three daughters, engaging in sports, travel, movie and game nights, and Bible study. Family is Robin’s greatest asset as she devotes her whole self to to her whole family, self included, to promote whole health.

Allison White

WELL-BEING COACH

Allison joined Curricula Concepts in December of 2021 and is super excited to building relationships and showing her appreciation for early childhood educators by guiding them on how to fill their cup first so they can continue to make big differences in children and their families. Her passion for helping others with their well-being started soon after she started prioritizing her own well-being. She wants nothing more than to be able to help others with their own wellness goals through showing them how our spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health all intertwine, and how they deserve to be addressed together for us to experience the best outcomes.

Allison pursued her national personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine while earning her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and a secondary specialization in Marketing. She worked as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor at Conway Regional Health and Fitness Center for over 2 years before she pursued further to obtain her master’s degree in Nutrition. She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas’s combined Master of Science and Dietetic Internship Program in August of 2021 and is now a Registered Dietitian after passing the national CDR exam in December 2021. She is family oriented, loves God, volunteers in the children’s ministry at her church working specifically with special needs children, enjoys thrifting, exploring in nature, lifting weights, and hanging out with her cat, Steve, and her Golden Retriever, Honey.
