Training Calendar

Curricula Concepts Inc. is offering the following trainings online via Zoom for families and educators.
Pre-registration is required. If the participant must cancel for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. Spots are limited and there may be a waiting list. Training is provided at no cost to the participants and PDR credit is available.

Information to consider:

  • Credit for the training cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals or for participants who leave early.
  • This is an online training and the expectation is that participants will have the capabilities to interact and participate using video as well as audio.

Caring Conversation Cafe: What I Should Know About Temperament

Caring Conversations Cafes provide a safe environment, based on mutual respect and trust, where families can build relationships with other families and with child care providers through meaningful, reflective conversations. Cafes use the Strengthening Families Protective and Promotive Factors to help families, and child care providers, see where they are strong, and where they might need some support.

What I Should Know About Temperament is a Café where families and early educators will discuss how each person is born with different ways of interacting with the world and our own and others’ temperaments traits as a way of understanding ourselves and others.

Caring Conversation Cafe: Understanding Challenging Behaviors

Caring Conversations Cafes provide a safe environment, based on mutual respect and trust, where families can build relationships with other families and with child care providers through meaningful, reflective conversations. Cafes use the Strengthening Families Protective and Promotive Factors to help families, and child care providers, see where they are strong, and where they might need some support.

Understanding Challenging Behaviors is a Café where families and early educators will discuss how children’s behavior is another form of communication through actions.
